They'll be defunct soon enough
No big names are using decks anymore,
Tractor laptop software is where it's at unfortunately.

Can hardly compare VDJ to CDJ's haha.
and most laptop software is used in conjuction with CDJ's so to be fair i think they've timed it about right including a midi controller etc.
I'll be in no rush to buy them as im quite happy with my CDJ 1000's

Midi Controler! Why would be that be any good? Timecoded cd's work fine, it wouldnt make me want to buy them, and if your using Timecoded cd's the screen is also pointless. Fail from Pioneer I feel

Think hes trying to say VDJ really crap like the micky mouse of the DJ world. I think its pretty good and that people just think its crap because most people have the cracked version. HAHA

I use Traktor Pro on my Mac Book Pro, I like it, but will alway prefer the feel of vinyl.

each to their own, cant see my expanding my kit in the direction of a laptop or anything like that soon. i want a 4ch mixer and 2 more decks, either 2 more cdj 1000's or 1 cdj and a 1210.

You joking? Yeh laptop software is getting big, but decks are still used far more. Only person i seen using a laptop the whole weekend at Global Gathering was Richie Hawtin.
And the big names that do use the laptops, will usually be using cdj1000s along side them.
