Just out of interest why do you want it back if its got as far as a breakers? Will keep an eye out for it though.

Very long shot but I am going to the local renault/vauxhall breakers with my brother tomorow. Will have a look. But I think they take all the plates off the cars

a guy on cliosport sent me a private message asking about the cars history as it is sitting in a yard....

i even went and found the spare keys tonight

What are the laws about getting a scrapped vehicle back because i thought it meant you cannot in anyway get it back on the road if its been documented as scrap?

The car was written off by the insurance company after a small front ender.... i was never given the option to buy back.

the car has been seen in east london in a mechanics yard and someone on Cliosport has asked about its history which i have lots of knowledge... and still have a set of keys, old style log book and service book

hopefully he is going to ask the new owner if he wants to sell the car back to me (obviously depending on state / condition)
