Pretty Good only driven a 1.5TD Nova at the moment till mines built but it's exactly the same engine, 67bhp as standard, can get it up to 90 for £17

0-60 - about 12-13 secs
0-60 - 8/9 with mods done

I'd love to have a 1.7TD corsa (conversion) with F18 box, with the engine mods done! Boost up etc. Basically:

*Loadsa torque
*Feelin of turbo kicking in
*As fast as SRis etc to 60
*120mph+ top speed
*Dump valve being designed, out soon!
*60 odd mpg!
*Sounds like a transit lol

What else could u want??? I'm gonna envy Kris TD in a few months!

i know of a guy who has a 1.7td nova, no intercooler runs at 2.0 bar. but only for short periods of time. i would only ever turn mine upto 1.5 bar if someone got cocky, hehe, turn it back to standard most the time cos 1 im skint and 2 i do loads of long distance driving.

matty, its a pipe dream if u think u will get 60 mpg

Diesels have huuuugggggggee tuning potential - sorry petrol heads but its a fact
1.5TD isn't bad at all for what it is. Chips, induction kits etc also work well on turbo diesels.

Turbo engines/diesel engines react better to chips/induction/exhaust.
Therefore you're laughing if you have a Turbo Diesel

Very fast cars are cars that do 0-60 under 6.... fast car would be anything under 7 and a quick car under 8....

SRi's aint fast to beat off lights.. I know plenty of TDi's that would beat my sport... but so what? They sound wank and generally get laughed at by the majority
