its hard to explain, it has the distributer replaced with the one run off the ecu, has a grey cover for sparks, pretty much fills me engine bay tho

Sounds like either a 1.4 or 1.6 then. defo not a 1.2 cos theyre tiny!

i'm with marc. the 1.4 and 1.6 sports have metal inlet manifolds and ecotec on the engine cover

Are you all mentally challenged? You call yourselves Vauxhall enthusiats and you don't even know what engine that is!!
Its the early 1.6 16v engine, pre-ecotec with 109bhp. Notice the black inlet manifold and "Vauxhall" written on the cover.
The K&N for this engine is totally different to the rest of the Corsa range, so how you seem to think its a 1.4 16v from the induction kit baffles me

Yes, but you did'nt state the fact correctly.
Merely saying "its a GSi engine" can mean a number of things.
GSi had two types of engine, so you should have made yourself clear!
