Whats this I hear about FIFA seeding second placed teams? Wankers if so.
'Oh no we can't have a WC without the big boys, we better give them an easier passge through the Play Offs.'
Fuck sake I hate FIFA. If Portugal are so shit that they cannot topple Denmark or Sweden then they should be made to suffer. Same as France, if they can't get past Slovenia or Slovakia then so be it. Fuck 'em. I hope Rep. Ireland beat whoever they get pitched against. Will be even sweeter if it's Portugal.

Takes the piss doesn't it, not too fussed about Ireland, but would like to see them there tbh, it's a bit unfair that they will be paired against a team higher than them in the rankings.
Was looking forward to seeing Portugal against France tbh, but obviously that won't be happening now

Couldn't really care less, seen as England have already qualified.

Doesn't really affect us as we're going to win the whole thing anyway, everything else is irrelavent.

The groups were seeded so why wouldn't the play-off's be seeded?

Because they never have been, it's giving an unfair advantage to the bigger teams, and supposedly it was only 2 weeks ago that they announced it was going to be seeded.

I've read up on it and I thought they were being seeded in terms of how well they did in their individual groups with points and goal difference being taken into account but this is not the case, they are being seeded in terms of the FIFA world rankings. So these 'big nations' were seeded in their group to begin with and couldn't qualify so FIFA are seeding them again to help them through the play-off's. Dirty bastards!

Amen to that. Seeding at every level should be scrapped. If the good teams are that good they shouldn't have trouble beating anybody. It's all about the money. Like everything in football. FIFA FTL.

France aren't what they used to be, Henry, Benzema and Ribery, not much else? and they've not played well for a long time.
I think Russia and Portgual would of been worse tbh, Greece probably would of been easier

I think after Greece, France would've been my choice. Fuck playing Russia in Moscow in Novemeber. Henry could well be injured still too.
