Usual drink red and i have no clue about Rose's, the requirements (typical female) are a dry, medium bottle for tonight - so has anyone got any recommendations that i could pick up from sainos/tescos?

This! And i would ask, but i don't have time to stop at a wine shop and supermarket assistance aren't exactly connoisseurs

Choices currently are - 1, 2, 3 or 4.

The people who sell wine in Waitrose are qualified wine specialists. Obviously you get the scummers like me who just stacked the shelves, so don't ask them. You'll get the same service in Sainsburys too. In fact, the people in your average wine shop are just going to be cashiers or shelf stackers, unless you go to somewhere proper.

Find a 3 for £10 deal and get 3 different ones, decent chance you will find one you like

As said though, out of all the Rose's, Gallo White Grenache is nice
