I love my george! Just clean it while it's warm, much easier to get the stuff off then. The new ones have removable, dishwasher-able plates on anyway, so even easier.

Dunno best value tho Robbo, but let me know if you get a decent sized one for a good price

They are alright if you have a dishwasher, but saying that I dont use mine anyway. Ive got quite a small one you can fit about 4 chicken breasts laid flat out on it, seems a little pointless to me because I dont want numerous cooking appliances on at once raping my leccy meter, with a foreman you need it on, probably the hob for something and maybe the grill / oven as well, pointless

I dont use mine for that very reason. Cleaning them is a chore, and the food doesnt taste any better for it either.

as above best time to clean them is when theyre warm bit of piss then. also turn the drain thing upside down and use it prop the front legs up so the grill is level otherwise all the juices gets drained away = dryness

I prefer the Simon Weston grill tbh..

The foreman ones, I like to use to make toasties. Just quick wipe down with damp cloth or kitchen roll while cooling down. Is enough to keep clean with a decent wipe down every so often.

Just buy the wee 25 quid one, thats all i done. All I do is cook chicken breasts on it, wait until its cooled down then wipe it down with kitchen roll and its fine.

Do your chicken breasts contain cooking oil?

Most you'll get out a chicken breast is a tiny bit of moisture and if you're cooking fish you actually take all the goodness out of it by draining the oils away, something I keep trying to tell my old dear.
