hey all i rely don't no what to do anymore, right iv had a new radiator pipe and fitted it just, now i came to turn my engine on and it turned over fine i put the water into the radiator and and left it running abit, then i noticed the temperature gauge went up half way so i turned off the engine left it to cool down and then turned it back on again, then i was standing by the engine bay and it started to piss out ov water and it was coming from the side of the engine near the pullys so if someone could please help me out would be great

Looks like its coming from either water pump pulley or thermostat housing, cant really see where the arrow's pointing too

yh its coming from behind the pully lads, is this dear to fix??? because if it is ill just pay to get me a 1.8 droped in it

Water pump : 20-30
Timing belt kit : not alot.
themostat to be safe : £5
if you can do it yourself.

cheers mate and i dont rely want to atempt that myself lol ill have to pay someone to do it for me , but for 850 i can get a 1.8 engine fitted and thats suplyed and fitted

iv just had a word with my mechanic and he said it is a big chance its the water pump gone so ill have to get that sortd but he is having a look at it the weekend so hopefully should be sorted but i rely dont want to spend much money becauase of it being a 1.0 id rather put a new engine in it

Looks like a 1L 12V, its a cheap fix if you or a mate can do it yourselves

yh cheers lads he is gonna sort it out weekend so hopefully thats all it will be, but if not im just gonna get a new engine in it because it isn't worth spedning fixing all these problems when i can just fit a new engine in it lol
