Nope, it's a direct replacement (proper boota handle elaborated to "gain" the carbon fibre look).

Open the boot, take the long carpet cover thing off thats held on with little poppers and 2 screws, then take the 5 bolts out the back of it and it just falls off.

Yes it will fit a 5 door.
