when i took my best car off the road c20xe corsa i bought a x16xe run around and its mint and i love it.
but now i am giving my c20 a refit and putting her back OTR, Should I/Would you swap the engine
as the x16 sounds much better, what would you do? how much would a std corsa be worth with a redtop in it as apposed to a x16 cheers guys

well...it depends what you want really. it's your car.
i have had 2 2litre engines in my car and there really is alot to sort, and so go wrong. whereas the x16, which is highly tunable as it is, is original and if in good condition and maintained properly, will be spot on for a long time, with potential for a decent output if you wish to tune it.
it is up to you really though matey.

You are joking aren't you?
Just as tuneable? Perhaps, but with a 45bhp disadvantage and even if you did get one to 150bhp, it'll have quite a bit less torque too. Not to mention the costs involved in getting one to 150bhp.

why would you take a more powerful better designed engine out, to put an underpowered shopping trolley engine in?
