I havent got any info on them but I've always been of the opinion that the 'crash courses' arent all that, they teach you to pass whereas if you do driving lessons in the normal fashion then they teach you how to drive properly and pass. IMO TBH IMOIOIMO FFS TBH

My driving instructor said heaps of times that a crash course is definetly not the way to go, there's too much information to take in to do it in a week unless you are somehow already a pretty competent driver

as ever learning is different to every individual.

dont let your mind be skewed by others experiences, he knows what learning method is best for him, let him decide?

If you can, just do two lessons per day. You will take a few weeks to pass, and will gain a wealth of experience that you won't in 5 days.

well i had 15 car lessons and failed twice, did a crash course for my motorcycle licence 3 days and test on 4th day and past first time..........................................

i personally think crash courses are better, you get a solid 8 hrs a day driving/riding which also helps to make you more comfortable with the vehicle, if you only have an hour every other day you get in the car abit lost again etc etc each time

with a crash course everything is fresh in your memory on test day, and i think you actually get more for your money, take my bike licence i did cbt 6 hrs, 3 days of 8 hours and 2 hours before the test thats 32 HOURS of training ALL FOR 475QUID.

32 hours at 20 quid an hour without test fees for driving LESSONS 640quid

people say you wont get experience but i think you actually get as much cos you do 8 hours solid driving and during my days i visited lots of different towns/villages etc etc

on lessons you dont get that as you have an hour so instructor cant take you far. thats just my pennies worth as ive done both.

You done the bike as an experienced car driver though, which is different from doing it knowing nothing about the road.

They are a waste of time, i know a few people who paid upto £800 for them thinking they would pass at the end and they didn't. The pass rate for them is under 50%

It took me 12 lessons to pass my driving test but i had 3 years motorcycle experience on the road before i passed. I was put in for my test after my 7th lesson but failed for driving over a mini roundabout instead of manouvering round it.

Get him 2 lessons a week, any longer than an hours driving lesson is too much info to take in.
