I pulled one of mine off when I had to replace it Then get the glue off with some AG tar remover or some white spirit, job's a goodun.

Hairdryer og heatgun does the trick and it goes off easy..
Or very very gently with a stanley knife etc.

I went to boyes and bought a pack of stanley knife blades, took them off no problem! also used the same trick to remove the glue from under the rubstrips...had to use it very carefully though to not damage paintwork (very flat against the surface...also I wouldn't reccommend anyone do this unless they're prepared to take the risk, mine came out fine but I was very careful)
