was wondering however, could i get away with this in the engine bay, pr would it be to hot for that kind of paint, its only a 1.0 12v, reason why i am asking lol!

if not, then i have read caliper paint, surely that would be okay if the green isnt..?
thank, callum

what are you painting, the bay, the rocker cover or the block, will be ok for everything except the block, make sure you lacquer it though

I assume you mean the head, when you say "the main bit of the engine that the rocker sits on".
Dont paint that, ill will look shite. Just do the rocker cover, normal spray paint will be fine, remember to lacquer it.

Yes, you need to sand the rocker cover down (Remove it from the engine first obviosuly)
Then primer it
Flat it down
Paint it
Lacquer

You could, if needed, get some high temp paint from halfords, but i'd stick to painting the rocker cover using the above method.

Your rocker cover will look like that.
Spray that, nothing else.
