Fracus and darwin seem to do a lot as a duo. Not my first choice style of hardcore though!

Carl, is that storms real name? He's great at hyping the crowds but really needs to get better at writing lyrics. Wotsee cannot be beaten for depth and quality of his lyrics... he has over 300 now, most other MC's have about 30 lol.

i dont think anyone can rival wotsee's amount of lyrics, new ones every month and the controversial ones are brilliant, sounds terrible on all the cd packs of late though, like hes always shouting hope he gets no1 at westfest! i dont get bored of storm/whizzkid but yeah they both need some new material

bring back mc smiley, odyssey should be booked more too. Brisk & ham are doing other stuff at the mo i think under 'stimulant dj's' label. i think its hard dance, dunno.

I havn't heard him on a CD pack for a while but I've seen him live twice this year and he was awesome. Look out for the pleasuredome CD pack and i get a shoutout on there B) lmao! He's really good, speak to him on FB a bit and the blokes really clever. I voted for him and he rightfully deserves No1 but i dont think he will win it, hes still a bit too underground and controversial for the masses!

Odyssey was really good in 04, his set with dougal at nye/nec 04/05 was one of my all time favourite sets... ive since lost the tape but fuck me it was really bouncey. He was shit at voice scratching and needed some more material to keep afloat though and i think he failed to deliver.

Spenno was another good one, and the best newcomers are definately enemy and macca. Storm and whizzkid are classic for sure, you cant get bored of storms hyperactivity and whizzkids sheer cool vibes!

I thought brisk and ham had next generation and blatant beats labels? fuck knows im not as into it as i used to be!

NYE NEC this year should be good, quite like the look of raverbaby in december too at air! CS rave night out? lol.

hes had my vote past 3 years i think but im pretty sure they all know who will win what before we all vote..

brisk & ham theyve still got next gen and bb but theyve put loads of releases on the next gen website under stimulant dj's and theyve hardly had much new stuff out hardcore wise unless its all on the hardcore underground album with fracus/darwin etc etc.

only ever heard spenno at htid 26 heaven n hell and all he did was shoutouts - yea it takes balls to get up there and mc but you need more then shoutouts to get you bookings.

nye always looks good but its gettin people to go, yorkshire to brum is a fair way for a night out + gettin home next morning, its either short straws for des or hotel

Keep an eye out, il hopefully do some mixes shortly and will post em up if theres a few interested

I have been into hardcore since about '95, i am a DJ who plays Hardcore, and i have just come to the conclusion lately that i HATE MC's. They just fucking annoy me. I used to put up with it, but i cant anymore.

Oh and Gabber FTW.
