wire it to your rear wiper power and earth

I've wired mine to the rear wiper live and earthed it in the boot. All depends if you still use your rear wiper though.

where do i actuallly fit the solenoid to? the boot?

I've done the wiper trick, annoying having to wait for the second click though!

This is where my solenoid is located.


And this is what I did to the latch as it was popping be sticking on the latch.

Have you actually wired it to the wiper stalk? I used the wiper wires but ran them to a seperate switch. The only time I get a delay is if I use pop the boot twice in a few seconds.
I did try to bypass the timed relay but couldn't seem to find the live so gave up, I'll try again soon.

blue and green wires which is the earth lead?
