its a hell of a lot more un-necessary work to do it that way. its not any harder taking the box off compared to a 1.4 or 1.2 corsa really. if its an f28 its just heavier to lift.

aye its heavy but its not that bad easier if 2 of you. ive had mine off and on a few times this year.

Id drop the engine onto the floor if the gearbox is coming off and going back on. Saves a lot of hassle trying to get it back on then giving up and dropping the engine anyway
