I think you will concede with ferdinand and Vidic out but I still think you will win, 2-1.

Chelsea will draw with Atletico 1-1.

Arsenal will win 3-0 against AZ.

We will find it hard against Lyon but will win by 1 goal ( ) 2-1.

Gerrard, Johnson and Aurelio not travelled for us. Agger has though which is a bonus.

Hopefully aggers injury is minor, we could really do with him on the pithc. Aurellio not travelling is a bit of a blow though as it limits the options we've got on the left side with riera also being out. If torres doesn't manage 90 minutes (which is likely) we don't have much option for a striker bar babel or voronin (who might already be playing in 'the hole' considering benny will probably start on the left). My fingers are well and truely crossed for this game.

Setting off in 15 mins

I think they will give us a hard time...

Few key players out but we have enough quality to still be able to put out a strong side

Rooney out and Berbatov a doubt. Whats the betting that Owen still misses out even though the media are saying he will start!

Welbeck and Macheda up front!

Fucked up that last post

Forgot to mention as we are struggling for options at RB with GJ out, maybe we should sacrifice masch to RB (carra against bastos is a worrying prospect for me).

At least lyon still have some CB issues.

I dont want to see Degen playing there tomorrow, he will get murdered every time.

I think Masch will be needed in the middle too much to sacrifice him to RB, but could probably happen. If needs be Id rather Ayala play there than Degen, he is a bit of a no nonsense sort of player and fairly solid at defending.

He has been fairly solid at CB for us so far though, nothing special but for a 4th choice costing just £1.5m I cant complain.

Degen's not registered to play in the CL for us anyway wasn't even on the back up b list apparantley. I don't think he can afford to start ayala it would be a big risk. My main worry is if carra plays RB and Kyriakgos plays CB (on the right of a CB pairing with Agger) they are going to be too slow to cover eachothers mistakes. At least kuyt is likely to start on the right

Ah yeah, forgot about degen not being in the squad Thank god for that!

Yeah I get what you mean pace wise, guess it will have to be a case of Carra making sure he gets in there early should he play there.

Ayala isnt slow though, and Kelly played there against them at home and had a great game.

Kelly was our MOTM imo, great debut but i'd still be uneasy about dropping ayala right in there in a european away game of this importance.

I watched the Utd v CSKA game last time around and i'd be amazed if Utd concede, CSKA were toothless, and even with a new manager I can't imagine them scoring, think it'd be more likely with Ferdinand playing as well.

Lyon v Lpool will be a good game, I'm not even gonna hazard a guess as to the result of that, both are off form in their leagues at the moment.

Think Chelsea and Arsenal will win tho
