Hi guys,
Well I bought the car around 14months ago and have put 20000 miles on it. Its done it since I have had it but recently it seems to be alot stronger.
I can only smell it when sitting in traffic. Dont no if its the injectors leaking or any other common faults?
Should really get it sorted. Its a 1.6 sport so x16xe. I get 300-350miles to a tank, so if it is a leak, it cant be too bad.

Two main failure points are:
The seams between the top and bottom of the tank, get under there and check for corrosion or evidence of leakage.
The pipe which bolts in to the injector rail, behind the engine on the right hand side. Again, have a feel and check for wetness and the smell.

Will check the injector rail. Forgot to put that the smell comes from the vents.
Will I need to take the inlet manifold off? If so, is it easy?

To fix it you might do but I think you can see it without doing any disassembly.
