My brother sucks, gives you someone to beat though  Im actually quite gutted I dont own the game. Was funny when I got a go round the nurburg though. Il get involved when im back at home for xmas. Trying to convince my housemate at uni to buy it in the meantime!

We done some drifiting yesterday lunchtime, was quite good. Paul has geeked it out and was the best as per, I got the hang of it towards the end, leave it in 3rd and just hammer it.

I'm at work chris.
thing is, it'd probably take you a short while to learn to use the car, then a few attempts to drift the entire track (about 12-14 mins per go)... first couple of times I got around 80-90k ... the trick is doing the drifts but not hitting anything and losing the points...
So you drift a good few corners, then slow down to let the points get banked, then drift the next few, so even if you crash you only lose maybe 1000 points rather than 7000+
Trust me chris it's a good laugh when you're all competiting against each other online in a drift comp... it's worth me building you a car.
If I had played single player more and had some cash I'd build another and lend you it, but I can't give away my one as I gave it briefly to henry and felt lost wirthout it! I've been using it most of the time online / offline doing drifting.

I can send you the break down of the costs on msn later, I worked it out for that dude who wanted one.
So that's the parts, then I just tweak the setup to be the same my current one. Which I can send details of over msn too. Everything is tweaked.
It's weird at first... I didn't like it at first... but once I started getting used to it, it became brilliant... Basically the car will want to slide on a straight line... so you slowly (50-70 mph in 2nd or 3rd gear) approach a corner from a wide point...
Then you pull the handbrake... the car will slide straight, you start to turn in and it'll pitch in (this will all be clocking up points btw) - then you start accelerating and release the handbrake and the car will then be drifting sideways through the bend... depending on the amount of throttle used, you can alter the tighteness / wideness of the drift...
Combined with pulling the normal brakes (set to front bias) and yanking the hand brake you can add in more drift angle / slow the car down a bit mid dirft (for example if you're sliding towards a barrier).
