driving back to uni, the orange light for the engine electronics came on, the thing that looks like ignition or summat. says in manual if it flashes at u or wen driving it comes on constantly for long periods it needs seeing to.
is this the immobiliser failing to work? just had MOT and a new cat and sensor put on, didnt think it was this??

No it is engine management system there is a fault in the engine some where

It could mean anything im not sure what problems are you having with your car? I.E does it cut out, not start properly. The best thing is get it checked on a computer the only thing i know is main dealer but they charge for this service Lee

ye i know they charge for everything these days! vauxhall wanted £35 for putin a mirror back on, it werent even broke i just cudnt snap it into place!
errm dnt fink there are ne probs, it starts fine, doesnt cut out, all i had done was a new CAT and emmissions sensor put in friday.
totally confused!

Take a look at that, you can read the codes your self by using a paperclip. I've done it, and it works.
