Panasonic or Pioneer are what people usually recommend if you have the money. Have a look on John Lewis, rather buy from them than Comet or Currys

Look at the G10 and G15 Panasonics, both seem to get good write ups.

No idea tbh

The S10 is the model below the G10, we've got the 42" in our backroom, that'll be cheaper if those two above are expensive.

A mate just bought the 42 version of nismo's looks very nice, not 1080p tho.

Panasonics seem to be the recommended for plasmas of all sizes. Pixmania were the best priced I could find for most TV at the moment, they've got a bit of a sale on.

1080p is the Full HD, as opposed to HD Ready which is 720p.

Not sure you can really tell the difference, but if you're spending that much on a TV it's worth getting the most up to date you can?

Most 50" plasmas seem to be 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

imo, looks for 1080p, Highest Ratio, and the screen resolution, higher the better essentially.

For the 50" panasonics on pixmania
