So if I have this right Liverpool can win tonight and still go out if other results don't go in their favour?
I think we all know by some gay mircale not only will they punish Debrecen but the other results will go their way too
As it stands:
1 Lyon 3 10pts
2 Fiorentina 3 9pts
3 Liverpool 1 4pts
4 Debrecen 0 0pts

Long night of flicking between channels for me
Hopefully lyon will really want to top the group and therefore they'll have a real go at the viola. Lyon have some injuries, so do fiorentina. I have my fingers crossed but i'm not exactly positive about our chances. We need to kill debrechen off in the 1st half and let aquilani get some time on the pitch!

We need to win no matter what. If we do and Lyon win then it comes down to needing a win over Fiorentina at home.
If Fiorentina pull off a draw, and we win, then we will need to win by 3 goals against Fiorentina at home.
Personally think Fiorentina will win tonight so it'll be all over.

Fiorentina FTW. Lyon will hopefully put out a weakened side to save their players for the league

I can't see lyon putting out a weakened side given that top spot in the group would see them missing the likes of barca, real madrid, manure, chelsea etc. They have quite a few injuries though so they are already a bit weakened

just looking at utd squad for weds
Man Utd (from): Foster, Kuszczak, Rafael, Brown, Vidic, Evra, Anderson, Fletcher, Valencia, Giggs, Scholes, Carrick, Park, Gibson, Obertan, Nani, Rooney, Owen, Berbatov, Welbeck, Macheda.
they look short at the back at the minute! lots of midfields and strikers but only 4 defenders

Hes like a mini Scholes, every time he gets the ball its a long shot on goal!
If hes starting I'd go with:
Foster
Rafael Brown Vidic Evra
Valencia Fletcher Gibson Obertan
Rooney Berbatov
Wouldn't mind Obertan getting a start. Edit - Obertan to start

In all seriousness Cosmotron, if you dropped down to the Europa, reckon you'd win it?

Gotta be in with a shout given games wouldnt be until next year when (hopefully) we'd have a fully fit squad back again.
TBH I wouldnt care either way, would rather see us blood youngsters in it and use a fully fit squad to climb back up the league.

Couple of decent teams in the Europa like Villarreal and Valencia, you'd have to say Liverpool would probably be favourites though with their recent European record (this campaign so far aside).
