I have had serious problems with my EPS
As the car is only a project, i've bought a standard (non-EPS) column to fit
It is easy enough to do, but will i suffer any side-effects by removing it and leaving it just unplugged?
Really need help with this, as i'm doing it tomorrow and need the car for the weekend
Any help is greatly appreciated

Why would you remove it? EPS is awesome.
You'll need the column bracket too and the clutch pedal, the EPS ones are different.. I've got a full manual setup if you want to buy it (column, bracket + pedal)

managed to remove the EPS yesterday...
also managed to make a bracket to adapt the EPS bracket to fit a standard column
I only removed it as a cheap repair as my EPS was broken and expensive to replace, standard column only cost me £10 from scrap-yard
Thanks
