I dunno.
Big sections of Liverpool council are crying out for it. Everton have no money so would love the idea. Yanks have no money so MAY like the idea.

If that happens it will be a travisty.
Anfield and Goodison park are 2 of the best football grounds in England.

Unless you are an away fan at Anfield and they stick you on the back row of the first tier...can't see fuck all once the ball leaves the pitch
But i know what you mean Danny, of all the grounds I've been too Anfield has certainly had the most "atmosphere" about it.

Because he is a bluenose and wants them to stay in the area, but know they cant afford to build their own stadium.

I can't see ground sharing working as theres bound to come a time when you would both be at home. Changing this would mess up all the other fixtures.
Silly idea. Although it worksabroad.

Liverpool never play at home when Everton do now, so that wouldnt be a problem.
In fact, even United and City dont play at home at the same time and you're not even in the same city.

Surely Liverpool would be better sharing with Tranmere so that Everton can have their own ground? Everton were founded before Liverpool anyway.

You don't see Everton going to away matches and ending up in jail for murder do you?

No, the ManUre fans would jump over the counter and trash them, forcing any students that work there to lock themselves in the stock room fearing for their lives.

Liverpool aren't a big enough club to be able to justify having their own stadium.

Really dont see what options are open to everton now as their stadium is pretty old and hasnt a big capacity.
Ground sharing would be good for them but dont see how they could redevop goodison theres just no room

They should seriously look into it IMO as it suits both clubs.
If it was something like ManUre and Man Shitty sharing it would be a bad idea as they could both afford it anyway and have many years of being in the top 4 to come as well as many European nights ahead of them.
Neither Liverpool nor Everton can seemingly afford their own grounds, they won't have to worry about being in the top 4 as again, they cannot afford to compete, so don't have to worry about future Champions League fixtures either.

even your attempt at bait is factually incorrect.
A shared stadium would still cost about £200m each, Everton dont have that, and even though we could afford it via loans the amount of commercial sponsorship in a shared stadium would be nearly halved. So our return would be halved and our outlay would be halved...which makes it just as viable to have our own stadium.

I don't think the revenue would be halved to be honest, anything would be attributed to each sides cost centres who would sell their own match day corporate events/boards etc.
Plus, any stadium sponsorship would demand a higher price as it would be hosting twice as many PL fixtures anyway.
