Make some beams with wood, then glue or bond these to the metal floor, once these are set, go about screwing down a box onto these beams.

should take the spare wheel out and fit the sub into the wheel space , then jus put the spare wheel back in the boot on top of ur fake floor when u go on long journeys just incase.. thats what id do anyways

to be LEGAL, you just need to have some tyre wield in the boot or under passenger seat, wherever.

one i made for my nova. wasnt for subs but still, same idea - just a box frame to the metal floor then profiled board covered in whatever you want. just fix the subs down to that. i made mine in two piece so its easy to get out.

You don't need anything. If you do carry a spare then he spare needs to be legal, tyre weld is good in common sense terms.

I was told by coppers you NEED, by law to carry either spare wheel or tyre wield.
Whether they were telling the truth is another issue.

Its not a legal requirement, cars pass MOTs without spares.
My corsa passed 2 MOTs without one at 2 diffo garages

Ive got neither and the coppers would rather quizme about my cage or harness's or even why the battery is in the spare wheel as to where my tyre weld is

You don't need a spare by law, and even if you do have one the tyre doesn't need to be legal.

And I've found tyre weld to be shite from experience.
