So the WC stadium bids for 2018 are going ahead today.
The cities putting bids forward are...
Birmingham - Villa Park
Bristol - New 40k Stadium
Derby - Expanded Pride Park
Hull - Expanded KC Stadium
Leeds - Elland Road
Leicester - Expanded Walker Stadium
Liverpool - Expanded Anfield, New Anfield, Expanded Goodison
London - Wembley, Emirates, Stamford Bridge, New Spurs
Manchester - City of Manchester Stadium
Milton Keynes - Expanded Stadium:mk
Newcastle/Gateshead - The we cant have a sponsor here because the world cup doesnt allow it @ St James' Park Stadium
Nottingham - New Forest Stadium
Plymouth - Expanded Home Park
Salford - Old Trafford
Sheffield - Expanded Hillsborough and Bramall Lane
Sunderland - Stadium of Light
So we need 12 venues from those...which would you pick?

Its in the running at the moment.
Yeah sorry missed Olympic Stadium off the list. I think London will just have the two with Emirates and Wembley though.
My 12 would be...
Wembley
Emirates
Villa Park
Anfield
Old Trafford
St James'
City of Manchester
Stadium of Light
Elland Road
One of Sheffield
Forest
Bristol
I havent bothered looking at the spread of those around the UK but its probably about right.

If they keep it as is, then only one city can have 2 stadiums... therefore, London: Wembley & the Emirates

For me:
Wembley
Emirates
Old Trafford
Anfield/New Anfield
Elland Road
St. James Park
Villa Park
Stadium of Light
After that, whatvere. Also, can Portman Road and St. Marys not be in the running? They bvig enough? Just thinking of places England went during Wembley re-development

TBH I really dont think you can not have the two Manchester stadiums in there.
If you dont then some shitty stadium is going to get in over COM and thats a great ground.

I dont think either club have the money to put towards getting the fifa compliant and large enough to house games.

FIFA rules though... unless they change it then that's how it is
Although as we have stated, Old Trafford is in Salford and COM is in Manchester so that is fine

I would love it if they used that as a loophole to get around the problem

Surely there is no way if it came to the crunch they would pick the City of Manchester Stadium over Old Trafford?

Maybe the rule has changed

Over?
OT holds a lot more people and will no doubt be one of the semi final stadiums.
