Its just metal plates, rectangle with four holes. bolt the hinge to one set of holes and the bonnet to the other set (where the hinge bolts to)

Dont they offer 10bhp gain on a 1.2 8v? Works by cooling the Manifold temperature and freezing the vacuum causing better combustion.

lack of money times saving up for roll cage times buying some different suspension times i dont really have the time to make money to buy a new electric blower.

ps raising the bonnet, id really not do it unless you genuinely 100% need to get masses of excess heat out.

issues with raising the bonnet i have noticed

1. people tell you your bonnet is open when its not
2. water can get in under your bonnet all over the engine when the car is parked up etc.
3. people tell you your bonnet is open when its not
4. looks like you are trying to be cool like the saxo people yet not as cool as the ford people. fail.
5. people tell you your bonnet is open when its not
6. it may let a fraction more air out. i noticed a fw degrees less on inlet temps while the car was stationary. id suggest that doesnt apply to most people with 1.6's though
7. people tell you your bonnet is open when its not

my honest feeling on it is it looks completely chav and pointless. unless its needed to actually cool an engine etc, really wouldnt bother. it seriously looks awful.

those are just my views. they are not right or wrong. just my opinions. thanks.
