Easynews, up to 100 days retention or 150 when you upgrade.
You can use the newsgroup servers, or just connect and download through your browser.

You used to be able to buy Demonoid invites off of Ebay. I wonder if you can buy invites to other sites still

How much does newzbin cost?
Do you need newzbin then pay someone else for the usenet servers?
Are tv shows available on usenet?

Hmm, since I read about the latest round of filesharing letters going out in the new year I have been thinking about looking into newsgroups.
The only thing putting me off is paying money to illegally download stuff, it goes against all logic

yeh but I look at it as paying for the speed and convenience.Like if u use grabit it automatically unzips it into correct folder so Is good for media centers etc. and my newzbin never drops below my max speed.
Also will be good if they start more filesharing laws as can you ssl newzbin
try the trial on usenetserver and I can send you an invite for newzbin if you like?

ssl is the main thing that would make me go for it.
I'll have an invite for a look at it if you've got one to waste

I just EZTV.it for the TV prgrams and never seem to have issues with torrent speeds. As there is a good ratio of seeders/leachers. Won't be as quick as paid newsgroup/usenet but I can get a general show in less than 10 mins.

I'm the same Allan, it's not a speed thing for me, I get fine speeds on torrents even if they don't always max my connection, i've got a server running 24/7 so I just leave torrents running.
The only thing that will make me go elsewhere is if they laws change on filesharing, there is an encrypted sharing system in the works though afaik.
