may be a stupid question but this is my 1st car and didnt pass long ago so here it goes...

1st time ive really given my corsa a hard drive and when breaking hard at higher speeds (40+) the break pedal seems to sort of vibrate? this normal or not?

any help greatly apprishiated

P.S its a 1999 1.4 corsa sport

could be a warped disc or worn pads..

how much vibration we talking?

1400 wouldn't have it as standard but it may have been fitted as an option.

You would have to be going some to bring the ABS in at 40. More likely is the disc is warped or you've got some play in a bush or something. Also worth checking the tyre pressures.

yeah . wheel wobble when brakeing ... take it to a mot garage and ask them to put it on the brake tester .. should show it up.

or if you have a flat surface then you can remove the disk and see if it wabbles on a flat surface.

had a new tire put on today, could that be the problem? :S

Could be. Swap it for the spare tomorrow and see if that changes anything.
