hello all

well been about for a while normal reading up on other people projects and there is some awesome projects out there.

well here is mine

started off as a 2.8 30v the first owner then put a PES supercharged kit on it along with the Supersprint exhaust system.

I bought it decided to sort out the gearbox as having 5 speed was getting on my nerves so 6 speed RS4 B5 box and rear diff spec made its way into my car.

Then i started to get bored bought a 20k 2.7T S4 lump for very good money

then started to fit it

and in with the new

then over the year slowly start sorting out a few problems firstly was the B4 RS4 intercoolers did not fit with a passat bumper so

make sure no one can see it

then exhaust need to be bigger so standard rs6 system made its way onto the car

off course brakes have been upgraded as well with B5 rs4 up front and C5 rs6 rears machined to fit.

well thats basically it for now. Got to post up pics of the car on the new wheels as RH have come off and also planning to put the K04's in there some time soon.

Oh nearly forgot the important power graph

not bad for standard lump and as far as I am concern its only 1 of two in the world that runs like from factory i.e 4 wheel drive and you can use VAG com etc which is what I wanted not to use aftermarket ecu and only have it FWD.

[quote=aposegil]Well another update.

well after being on a downer about not bothering with the car final decided to get my arse into gear.

So kind of went shopping for parts lol

So now sitting in my garage is

RS4 K04's
DTS (gearbox brace)
Eibach front anti roll bar
Aircon rad
Porsche Cayenne 6 pot calipers and RS6 discs modified to fit. (more about this later)
Also ordered Eiback coilovers for a RS6 and got to order 044 bosch pump and some 440cc or bigger injectors.
and another RS6 exhaust.

Another RS6 exhaust I hear you lot say lol. Well to be honest I kind of bodge the last one on trying to do it simpliest way possible. As you remember the extra 8cms was in the back boxes but I couldn't be bothered to open it up and didnt have time. Well since having it on the car it has buged me no end that it doesnt sit right. So I got another RS6 exhaust.

Well as I had some spare time decided to do something about it. We all know what a rs6 exhaust looks like but to remind you compared to my old one

and

and where I took the extra 8cms from

well started by cutting up the rear box not knowing what to expect but lucky for me some good luck.

firstly what I wanted it to look like

I had already cut this up and worked out how I would do the work.

tape up my cutting line

and so you can see the differece

and

cut away to reveal

so more cutting

once you remove the material

and inside the rest of the silencer

Bascially in the rear silencer it has two parts, first section (which is what I remove) and the 2nd.

then I get welding on the new 180amp welder good I love it lol and result is

and

This now sits lovely under the car not hittin rear subframe and it has a slightly deeper tone but then the down turns (back bumper replaced as well) might be helping towards this.

Also have swapped over spare rear subframe I bought.

pic still missing the RS4 maf and Y pipe and the rear subframe

it was one bloody long week last week. well good news for you guys I forgot to take pics lol

but will get one of the outside now as I have taken away the old exhaust tips and put in down turns I need to trim them back a bit but once I post the pics up you will see .

otherwise from putting 35 hours in to the car last week, it is up and running again. I was lucky enough to book it into wheels in motion on friday (and guys I can not recomend these guys enough!!) and what a fecking difference.

I have driven a few rs4/6 in my time but to say the passat handling is now def up there with them is a great pleasure. Nothing knocks, nothing rattles it is really smooth and handling is just amazing I have so much grip. All the work was def worth it.

ok still got to change fuel pump 044 motorsport got to get the remap and injectors from MRC. hoping next month and aircon re-gased. otherwise it is complete I can't believe how happy I am with it.

anyhow will give the car a good clean and put pics up

All Passats should be steam catapulted off the deck of the Ark Royal over the Mariana Trench.

How did he do what Jamie?

Incidentally, he should be jailed for defacing those AMG rims by bolting a volkswagen onto the back of them.
