cost would be HUGE now though unless Glazer's were willing to make a loss, as the interest has just been rolling over since they bought it.

Newcastle dont want to be in the Premier League. They want to stay in the Championship because its the league with proper fans apparently

Interesting to see how a £275 million which then became 175 million (quite good going to pay off £100mil in two years) but it will now escalate to 500+ million if they can't refinance.

They only converted loans that had their own personal guarantees into loans that were secured on the club, they didnt lower the clubs debts at all.

as far as im aware. newcastle has some of the least debts of any club in the entire football league. im not sure if thats correct now, but i remember reading it in a local paper once they got relegated that although they will lose money now, theyre not in a financial crisis like most clubs are.
is that right or wrong cosmoyle? (i just put cosmo and doyle together as one name as they are pretty much the same entity these days)

From what I understand the man who you all hate who owns you paid all the debts off using his personal cash, because he is a utter bastard like that. I just said it to get a rise from you Nic_87

We will be fine imo
Yes the debt is a worry but we are running well within our means according to that, its the personal loans they have that they can't secure against us?
Plus, worry about how much money you'll lose by getting into the europa league and leave the big boys alone

If we play 2 games in the Europa then that covers us for getting to the 1/4ers in the CL. If we end up getting to the semis or even final then that will bring in more than we would of probably got in the CL this season.
And its the personal loans they are trying to refinance against the club, same as they did with part of them a bit back.

Apparently thats how the money works out - not that I worked it out myself or that being in that would be my preference.
