You're kidding right? The A43 is a nightmare whenever there's an event on there.
Donnington is immediately off the M1 at junction 23b; and more central making it accessible within 2.5hours from pretty much everywhere in the UK from Dorset to the borders and most of Wales.

not that I'm saying it needed to go to Donnington but whichever UK track is used needs to do a lot of work to compete with the glitz/glamour of Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Malaysia, Singapore. Ok some of these may not be the ebst driving tracks in the world but Silverstone looks dreadful by comparison regardless of how good a track it is

Donnington is horrendous to get to, one way in one way out.
A43 isn't much better but it's not as bad as the access to Donnington.
Silverstone does need some work though.

2 ways in and out, can go via Melbourne and the A50 (Stoke end) as well as M1/A50 Leicester End
and sorry I did mean England, my bad; in my defence name a more Northerly circuit than Donnington which would have a glimmer of hope of hosting an event of F1 magnitude?

Oulton and F1 = Takeoffs...
With the revised Donnington layout, it would have been superb. But traffic in and out is simply dreadfull.
Silverstone is much better now, you should have tried it when the a43 was 1 lane each way (in other words, go through Donnington village...). It just needs the entrance road widening.
Will the F1 track use the revised circuit for the MotoGP thats been planned, or stay on the original?
Revised MotoGP part...

I hope not, the best thing about Donnington from a spectator's point of view is that its an infield circuit from which you can see 75% or more of the track regardless of where you are.

You could of with the revised layout as well.
But as its not happening at the moment, I wouldn't worry.

Nothing was actually said. You could have still sat inside the Craner curves as per always. The Inside bank would have gone (but replaced with track.
Obviously some viewing aread would have been lost, but thats only because the track was there. Would have been a much better circuit (the new curve would have flowed down the hill, and back up again to old start/fin straight).
