Realised on the way home the front spring was snapped and as it was rattling like nobodies business.

When the other side went last spring the mechanic said it would be ok to drive as long as I didn't go silly. The next day I dropped it in for it be repaired.

Unfortunately I can't get it done till Thursday/Friday of this week. Now I've removed the broken bit of spring and it has snapped right at the bottom of it, so where it sits in the damper mount. About half a circle came out.

I presume this will be ok to drive as long as I don't go mental round corners?

Will look like I've got my lean on

chopped springs are fine, so a spring that a tiny bit has come off will be fine

if it's a small amount, then it's ok. If it's about 2 coils worth (2 circles), then it might ping out.

It's a very minimal amount. Infact on closer inspection its actually the end of the spring, so I would be surprised if it has shortened in height. Probably just not as much sitting in the housing.

depends

seen broken springs on corsa c's and vectra's, brake, then coil into the tyre and puncturing it

should be okay though

i do hope you get some lowering springs...be cheaper to prob!
