just had a quote for 2 different engines in my car, 1st was 1.4 16v sri, second was GSi, and guess what, was £2.50 cheaper to put the GSi lump in it than the SRi!!!!!!!!!!!!! COOOOOOL

is that a quick quote online though?? if it is, the quotes can be very different when you actually ring up.

I did one online, then when I rang up ended up being about £100 less, same for two of my mates and my sister, all their quotes ended up being less in the end!

Liverpool victoria are insuraing me in may when i'm 20 and have the 2.0 rover turbo engine in mine £1100 fully comp. thats with the mighty list of other mods i've got too

im 21/had license 2yrs, 3 points, 1 crash, 0NCB!!! all mods declared with GSI lump in my SRi, it would be £983.75, and that was a phone quote!!!

Both times I have rung up for quotes the person on the phone has been a cock and said that they won't insure me with more then 1 modification

just get a quote on a standard car, then ring up the next day to declare your mods! Dont think its strictly legal, but from what I've heard it can only go up 10% for any mods!

I have just renewed my insurance with them.

Punto gt with everything declared, new/bigger engine/turbo/forgedpistons etc, wheels, lowered, alloys, brakes.... etc.

£1220 F/C (just turned 21)

am 20, 2 years no claims fully comp, on a 1.4 16v sport with all mods declared, only £780 well chuffed

norwich union sent me a letter to renew my insurance with them, they wanted £1400
i said no chance got a better deal with LV, see ye

year they're cheap just got a quick qoute 253 quid fully comp thats with out me mods ill give them a ring when me insurance runs out!....
