would that even work, as that pulls using a wire, and the corsa needs a push with a solid rod

If you mounted it pointing upwards so when activated it pulled the wire downwards all you would have to do is attach the wire to the solid rod and it would open. If that makes sense Probably take about 5mins to fit and you wouldnt need to make any mods to the exterior of the boot but theres not really much point in having it if youre going to keep the lock.
