hi there , iv just had to buy a new head for my xe , thing is its running a coilpack , whereas my set ups for a dizzy , iv changed the pulleys to my old ones , but when i come to fit the dizzy theres the hole for the stud on the dizzy and the stabilizer shaft but it doesnt go in the cam as its like theres a ball in there , what should i do as i dont really want to change the cam . thanks

change the cam is only option unless you fit the dispack and change the loom and ecu and afm etc to suit?

hmm dont really want to swap the cam , theres the hole for the dizzy shaft but it only goes in a tiny bit , may just hack the bar down

as nick said only option would be to either change the cames over or change the loom and ignition set up to dizzyless

if you cut the dizzy shaft then it wont do it any good. it will move about more than its likely to already. which dizzy is it? Electronic or vacuum advance?

sorry to butt in .... which is the best one to buy mate dizzy or coil pack engine ???? are they both 150bhp????
