Thats right, if you didnt already know the worlds strongest man has made a move to MMA.. First fight was on Sat 12th Dec and he showed his power. Things can only get better i guess (look at Brock Lesnar)

Not too impressed tbh, he is a big strong fella who Ive seen in WSM a lot of times, but he doesnt look to have much background in fighting (I may be wrong) and looked a little wild in there. Against someone better they'd take advantage of that imo and his size wouldnt save him.

At least Brock had a fighting background so he had bother size and skill.

i get what your saying but wild swingers soon calm down and fight properly.. Take Tim Silvia for example, was more of a bar fighter style then became champ... then lost

think for a first fight it wasnt bad, he just needs to spend a lot of hours in the ring

He has a background in some funky karate discipline and amateur boxing as well. He will be pretty damn hard to beat unless you put him in there with a top class striker that can run like fuck

Those leg kicks, although completely unorthodox, must have some power behind them he is lifting the guy clean off the ground ffs

With some good training behind him, he'll be hard to stop, even someone with a top ground game will struggle as he'll have the pure stength to fight off a lot of submissions. Will take an excellent striker and the hope that his chin isnt as strong as him

If he worked on his ground game, asuming he has very little already, then he would be a great fighter. I'd love to see him in the UFC fighting some big names, probably one of the only fighters around that could muscle Brock around, although he looked very stiff in the ring with virtually no guard, any decent MMA fighter would take advantage of that straight away.

He is immensely strong, with a bit of work he could be an absolute weapon!

When you're on as much gear as Mariusz it can.

Only just though. Ask Dizzy.
