Hi, Here im selling my much loved astra. Its got 87000 miles on it, most of which are motorway miles. This is very economical, I can get about 110miles off a 1/4 tank on the motorway, which is about £10/15 depending on the price of petrol. I got given it earlier this year in February by a family member and didn't really know what i could do with it along the lines of modding it. I've never been a fan of body kits etc so i decided that id take the Euro route.
Ive always liked cleaning and polishing cars and built a reputation of polishing and cleaning my car every other day in the summer.I never washed it myself, i always went to the hand car wash and paid for it, As soon as it was washed id take it home and polish it inside and out so it was spotless. So the paintwork is in mint condition when polished up which it will be when its brought.
Here are the list of things ive done to it:
- Astra gsi front and rear lights
- Cross-hatch grill
- Coilovers lowered 85mm front and 75ish back
- Bonnet Bra
- 7" flip out Dvd player
- German pressed number plates
- Vibe 6x9's and Vibe 12" 1300W sub
Thats all i can think of for now.
It has 6months tax 5months or so left on it, And MOT done this week. Cambelt and waterpump was done about 4/5k miles ago. Coilpack and battery was done about 4/5k miles ago aswell.
In the photo's there are some that have different wheels, The wheels that look slightly wider/deeper are called banded steels, These will come with the car at an extra £500. Also i can have gsi front and rear seats put in at an extra cost.
Also willing to put it back to standard which would make it a very good example of its age and mileage.
Its only had 2 owners before me, First being a women, 2nd being my grandad so its never been thrashed as such.
Not many bad points apart from stone chips on the front bumper due to age but ive tried getting as many out as possible with T-cut, Also the bonnet bra has stopped the bonnet from getting chipped in the time that ive had it. There are a few minor jobs that need doing like the wing mirror cover needs painting, Few light/faint scratches on the side, but these will all be done before its sold.
