Yes plus you don't get the headset with the arcade iirc.

It depends what you are going to use it for? Just online gaming?

Elite can still break. I assume you mean the RROD? Just a lot less common. Spend the extra £70, as i'm sure you won't just do online gaming with it

tbh Will IF i were to get a Xbox, it'd be the Elite, Biggr hard-drive plus headset. Also If you tend on doing online gaming/msn then get a 'keypad keyboard' find it so much easier/faster to type.

Get the elite, HDMI and all that Jazz, Hard drive No need for crappy memory cards. Wireless controller, and an arcade comes with a wired [IIRC].

the elites break just as much as any other 360 from my own experience, but you still get 3 years warranty so its really not worth worrying about. If your wanting to go online id say it was essential to get an elite. Also dont forget how you are going to get it online? If you can wire it in then ace, if not drop your pants now and bend over for microsoft and there stupidly expensive wireless adapter.

I didn't think they came with a HDMI cable. I know both accept them. But unless doyle doesn't have a HD tv it won't worry him
