... like flashget, but for software?
Flashget downloads the flash on screen, and you can disect, edit etc.
Wondering if theres anything for java based aplications?

Is the Java in a website? if so just download all the .js files and edit it there.

If it's a compiled JAR, then there are a few decompilers out there. Most of the work ok and you'll get majority of the code back, but it's not brilliant....

A .jar file is just a compressed folder, a bit like a .zip or .rar. You can open it up in Winrar and get what you want out of it.
