the 1.1/1.3 2 door models are fetching more then the gti's now..

also its a non sunroof model and is solid as fook underneath..

that doesnt make sense to me about the 1.1/1.3 making more but you must be right. seems crazy tho lol

does look tidy, and have always fancied one.

its because not many people keep the original engines, so no point getting a gti then sticking in a 20v turbo for example (and pay loads still for tax/insurance if not registered)

its like people that fit an xe in 1.0/1.2s..

plus a large number of base models are in way better condition and not abused like the gti's (same with alot of other cars)

yeah there allso cheaper to re-shell that way than buying another rs .. allso isnt an rs , an rs on the logbook? so re-shelling it with a lesser model will make it worth less?

i dont put all the prices on the cars, im told by many people on the mk1 golf owners club that the 1.1/1.3s are costing more then some gti's
