Thought i should put up a Proper post about my M3 Project as last Project i put on here was my Cayenne.

Over the years ive had loads of Projects from my 106 GTi Magazine cover car in 2003 to this latest one My E46 M3.

I know some people forwn about Playing with the M3 etc but ive never been one to follow the crowd and wanted to build something that stood out.

The car wasnt damaged in anyway and was a perfect low miles Mint Carbon Black M3 with FSH etc and the likes of Hamon kardon etc. Immaybe Crazy but thougt what the hell.

Ive never been one to Mess about so things moved VERY Fast with my M3 Project.

I bought the car 3 weeks ago as 100% Standard Carbon Black M3 but ive always loved a project, the last one Being a Grey Porsche Cayenne V8s that i had fitted with loads of speedart goodies then the colour changed to white.

So after buying the M3 a few week ago i fitted some 20" Wheels but after fitting them decided they wasnt for me and they had to go.

I found a pic of this American M3 on the net and loved it and wanted to use it as a rough idea of what i was going to build.

So the 20s were Removed and 19"LM's fitted and the car was stripped bare and the fun began.

Since then the car has had 3 guys working 15 hours a day on it all week for me and the quality is nothing short of outstanding.

The guy i use for my bodywork is one the best up here and is well known for painting the likes of Porsche 911 Cup Cars etc.

This is aint no wrap, the whole car inside and out has been painted Audi Ibis white.

All Carbon bits are seriously stunning Quality in the flesh and not cheap ebay sticky on jobbies lol.

Bumpers with the CSL Goodies will be back on the car tommorow and then ill get some proper pics along with the other bits still to be fitted

How it looked Last week.1/12/09, i fitted these 20" wheels but HATED them.

06/12/09

Some more poor quality progress pics that dont do the car justice but you get the idea of what was going on

12/12/09 and the car is Complete

Happy is an understatement.

Rear Bumper fitment isnt 100% but will be sorted and im unsure of the Carbon spoiler but in the flesh is alot better and is Growing on me.

My aim wasnt to build a CSL Replica so i didnt, i wanted to be Diff and add my own ideas to the car which i think seem to work well.

Car is soooo Bright its unreal and the looks it gets is Nuts

Red Leather goes really nice with the white.

Wont be to everyones taste but i hope you like, im Off to find a Superchgarger

Brad

Pics aint the best quality as i used my own, i will get better ones soon.

Some before i fitted the love it or hate it Carbon Spoiler

Its been a Busy 2 weeks but its been fun.

The Pics dont do the car justice and the looks it gets is UNREAL, on a 30min Drive, i spotted 3 people taking pics of it. Deffo stands out in the flesh.

Pics taken 2day 19/12/09:

I BADLY Need to get a Decent Camera or someone knows what they are doing to take some.

Still aint fitted the suspension yet

Love that bar the spoiler which imo regardless of cost looks cheap and tacky I'm afraid!

Not too keen on the boot spoiler myself but if the bootlid matched the roof to keep the black going it could work better

That is stunning, the original pic of the US one used to be my desktop

Looks great mate, think spoiler would look better painted with just the very top edge left in exposed carbon, but as long as you like it.

Sell me it when your bored of it.

Cheers for the comments.

The 106 was back when kitted cars were all the rage.

These days id rather eat my own ass than drive what the 106 was but it was the the birds cars (Now the wife) and kept me busy back then.

Since the 106 ive had around 50 cars and now have 2 kids and got married, fcuk me time flys.

But Pics of the 106 for Comical Value.

How it was in 2002 and Was Feat in Revs.

And the Last time it ever seen the road Sept 2003, it was a Fast Car Mag Cover Car.

I think a little lip spoiler would be best for the boot, other than that it looks amazing!

$$$$$$

I like how you have thrown e90 styling into it. I dont like the rear spoiler, im not 100% on the wheels!

If it were me, i would ditch the tints and let everyone gaze at the red leather. Love the inside!

I rekon it the rear valance around the exhaust was black, without the spoiler, would be my ideal car. But its yours so...
