Posting this for a mate.

When ever he starts to slows down leading to lights/roundabout etc. he knocks the car out of gear but his car revs will go down to about 250 and his oil light will come on like its stalling but it's not in gear??

Also just on normal idleing its really low then will rev up high then idle low etc.

It's a 1.0L 12v P reg corsa, anyone know what it is?

Seeing as it's idling problems then it's probably the idle control valve (ICV).
