removing side strips from corsa b gsi?
im sure its quiet simple but i dont want to pull off any paint or leave any marks or scratches
any1 got a photo gallery of doing theirs and what they used etc?

its not simple as it sounds tbh
your gonna need:
Heat Gun
Meths/Nail Varnish Remover
I used a credit card but an Ice Scraper would probably be to hand this time of year.
Heat them up so the glue goes soft and then just scrape them off gently
After this there will be alot of residue so use a rag and the meths to remove it
I had to use a power drill and a toffee wheel to get the rest off but be warned, the paint underneath will be a different colour to the rest of the car due to it never having seen sunlight so therefore wont be faded
Also this should be in Help Zone realy mate

one item i used to do mine and it came out sweet.
toffee wheel (link below)
thing is,its all a big issue as to what the paintwork unerneath is like.a good polish may get it back to colour but im guessing with you saying its a gsi its about a 15 year old car now?

gsi's dont come with rub strips?
never attempted mine due to worryin about paintwork lol

well its a gsi replica with a retop conversion, but started off as a 1998 1.6 sport so think paint should be ok
