rear brakes are binded
and the struts are loose but ill jsut replace with my standard ones
how much will this take to fix at a garage doing it properly?

re-fit back box,
clean up and re-fit drums, maybe new shoes,
tighen struts or fit standards,
it wont take very long at all. plus if your struts are loose i would not be driving the car.... seriously. who tightened them up your 11 year old sister?

no i bought the struts from performance3000, and they just arent flush to the bracket. ill just put some standards on for the next one and then get some spacers for after the test.
the exhaust i spent like 3hours refitting it, and it just doesn want to fit. i went over a speedbump and it banged up into the bodywork, so thats probably why.
when he says binded rear brakes what does that mean? should i just replace the shoes or is it something else?
and apparently the headlights are loose :s i dunno what hes on abotu there lol

binded rear brakes means that they are not releasing properly inside. means they are staying on a little bit when your driving... they will need a clean out inside, and maybe your handbrake cable adjusting or greasing

headlight may be loose inside where the bulbs sit. (the crome bit) make sure the auto adjusters are connected and working properly and set the headlight level by adjsting the white plastic screw ontop

Headlights could also be the white clips that sit in the front panel, if the headlights ever been out, when people re-fit them they have a tendancy to just force them in, breaking the clip, causing the headlight to wobble about,

Just whip headlights out, 2 new clips from Vaux, only a couple of quid, and go steady putting them back in.

Well I didn't realise the headlights failed like that, had no idea about rear brakes, the exhaust only happened last night so I was hoping it wasn't to bad, and my mate installed the suspension so I was hoping that was up to scratch :-/
so really I didn't put it into the test with knowledge of that :-/ but only onwards and upwards
