Rule of thumb is 500 miles of regular braking. Soft braking won't wear the pads, and it'll take longer for the surfaces to wear to each other. Wait till they're bedded in properly and they'll start to get sharper. I've got greenstuff V4's on my rover and the thing stops on the dot. But i have got the turbo brakes on my car

if you look on the ap racing site it recommends 200mile not 500 gentle braking...It wont kill them if you need to slam on you shouldn't kill the old bid but consistent heavy braking will warp your brakes as they heat up and cause this.
Happy braking
