As above really..

I've recently split with my girlfriend, over silly things.. on my part.

She's told me she still loves me, and obviously i still love her - thats why i'm typing up..

Basically, I'm looking for ways i can make her feel special, make her feel loved.

I'm not a very.. relationship orientated person, or not all of the time, but i certainly have what it takes, and have the commitment there.

I do have a temper, and this scares her, though i've never or never would, actually harm her, i scare her - I've made a promise to seek help with this and learn to control my ways.

I just need to really bring the spark back, make it happen kinda thing.. When its good, its really good, but it never lasts.. i need to do something to keep it there - The love is still there, i need to prove myself

Some people will probably make a joke, laugh at this thread even - Its not something i want the day before Christmas eve thats for sure, but i don't care - I want to battle on through, i just need some guidance.

I'll probably get slated for this anyway.. but any serious comments would be awesome
Thanks
David

How can you expect her to want to be with you if you can't be arsed with your relationship with her and act like a meathead? Obviously I don't know you, but the above quotes from your post give me those impressions.

P.S. OFF DAY.

Get a grip you tool.

Its a running joke that Prem Day has become Relationship Advice Day, hence why whenever anyone posts about relationship advice outside of there it gets a mention.

I might have missed it, but what were her exact reasons for dumping you?

Was it just that you were getting all hot headed over trivial things, or real serious reasons?

Perhaps spend some quality time with her, maybe do something that she wants to do or really enjoys?

Ok i knew i was going to get grief..

I want things to work - And yeah, its on a public forum - So what?

I'm not embarrased or anything.. and yeh, i might be a total meathead.

I'm totally stuck tbh - I love this girl, with everything i have - I might not have much, but its everything i have.

I want to put things right, I'm trying, I'm getting the support for my Temper... I want to prove myself, and blow her away - I was hoping for some ideas, maybe from people who have really made their girlfriends happy, just that one time..

Obviously i'm just going to get this - Apologies if its in the wrong place, any chance a mod could move it?

Thanks Craig

Trivial things - Just being stressy, having a temper basically...

Sorting the anger issues will be the first thing on the list - But i still need to restore faith..

No, she doesn't wind me up - She's not like that at all, its down to me - I get stroppy over literally nothing.. even when she's genuinely trying to help..

I don't blame her for leaving me in all honesty, because now i can see what i really was like to be with - CRAP.

But, there's still hope, and hopefully light at the end of the tunnel, for me to learn and correct my mistakes / flaws..

Yeah, i know - She's told me she knows i can be that person, that she loves me for me, just the temper ruins a lot of things.

I have to work far harder to make this happen, i know.

I'm willing to do whatever it takes, because i love her.

Well I dont think there is anything any of us can do on here.

I think youve had the wakeup call.

Book a holiday and fuck off with her.

Google for a local help group/counciling service near you.

Perhaps just try not to get all stressed and stay calm? Just stop and think before you jump off the handles about anything and think ahead?

2 birds with one stone. ANGRY SEX she'll love it and you get a release.

serious answer tho. do you have a hobbie? like I know i get crabbit and nippy if I dont have anything to do and I do the same things day in and out.

Get yerself a hobbie that will take your mind off things.

Surprise the mrs with romantic things. doesnt need to cost money, just things to show her your still there and want to be with her.

Its the romantic things i struggle with..

The car is my hobby, but its stored so far away..

I'm out of work, and so get iritable easily, i get bored.

I like to keep busy, but like to be soppy and just cuddle too.. with a dvd on or sometimes even just cuddle... (No comments please.. lol)
