I was putting some water in the coolent bottle of my corsa let when a young guy walked over and said thats 100% a redtop, i said it wasnt but he said he knew more than me haha .. although i did build my corsa myself lol
He then went on about having a 550bhp calibra 3.0 redtop ..

He said it was a c20let originally 2wd calibra but then he broke the front axel and made it into a rwd 3.0. Then he said he blew the shafts so replaced all of the drive, gearbox etc etc with M3 parts.
Thinking he was a complete nutter i asked how he got 550bhp from a 3.0 redtop which i didnt even think existed. His answer was - loads of remapping, tuned valves, f28 gearbox and lightend fly wheels & twin turbo.
I asked what turbo, he said c20xe turbo's
I just went along with it all and shut my bonnet ..i said id love to see it! his final peice of the story was ''someone took a pick axe to it so i dumped it on his drive..mental car though, would have killed your corsa''
I drove off as quick as i could!
