so its lighter and why do you need air con in a small car like that anyway just open the window abit like init its not like a zafira isit

you can do it i did it in an old corsa i had , you just need to blank the bulk head with something and im sure i had to take the dash out to get at some radiator type thing

id just get 10bhp more instead of taking the weight out. it doesnt weigh a massive amount really. unless you take all the heaters etc out aswell and leave it with no dash.

i'm thinkin of doing this also, would just removing the pump and changing the belt make it quicker, 1 less thing 4 the engine 2 do ?

I just got rid off all the aircon bits that were in the engine bay. I just left whatever is behind the dash as it is and just pulled the pipes off the engine side of the bulkhead. I would like to add that I removed mine because it was dead and was easier to leave it out anyway when the c20xe went in.

no point really aircon box weighs nothing really and you will have rain water coming in through the hole under scuttle panel unless you weld a plate on
