They are apparently after a massive naming rights deal to rival those found in the US (something like £200m over 20yrs), so will no doubt be something stupid like Pizza Hut! Although Carlsberg were said to be 'exploring opportunities' with us after not going with the shirt sponsorship.

I hate it when a new stadium is named after a company Although I can understand why clubs do it.
Even worse though when it changes all the time, like ours

If it ended up being something like The Stanley Park Carlsberg Stadium then I'll accept that for a few hundred million over 20yrs!
BTW, more pics here http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/stadium/new-stadium/gallery

Can't see any logic in naming it carlsberg stadium
May aswell have them as the beer sponsor and get even more money in from someone else

Aye that wouldn't be too bad. Like I say I understant why they do it, although Liverpool dont really seem like the type of club to do something like that as they are still quite traditional, well as much as they can be in the modern game.
Looks good BTW.

The days of us being a club like that are long gone. To be at the top you have to move with the times and we are slowly getting out of the dark ages commercially.
Its not the best option but its needed imo - Id have a different opinion if it wasnt a new stadium and we were renaming Anfield though.

Not something Rangers would be in then considering their level is probably League One at best.

Not really.
Only reason we dont have it is because pitch is too small and we cant make it any bigger due to the closeness of the stands to the pitch side.
